black line Green Park Brasserie
"The atmosphere - especially when the weekend farmers' market is buzzing - is gently lively."

Originally the booking hall of the old Green Park Station and now a spacious but cosy jazz lovers’ hotspot, this cool brasserie is an all things to all people experience. It opens early for morning coffee before moving along to cater for light lunchers, those in search of a full-on feast later on or jazz buffs for whom a glass of wine’s too wet without a drum solo to accompany it. Yes, as we’ve established, live jazz is writ large on the menu here, and occasionally, sound levels drown out all notion of quiet conversation. But the food’s good, and the atmosphere – especially when the weekend farmers’ market is buzzing – is gently lively. Menu options can be confusing to trawl through (check the website for lunch specials, early dining offers, group and party menus, etc), but once you’ve sorted it all out, there are plenty of deals to be found.

I really like this place – always something yummy on the menu for me and its really laid back. I like to chill out a bit after work and if I have a half day I probably end up spending my afternoon here. Lunch often turns into coffee and naughty cake with the paper by 3pm!
