A-Z of Restaurants in Bath

black line Cafe du Globe
"The menu merrily juggles Moroccan meatballs and chicken kadra with a nachos/bruschetta mix."

This cute little cafe at the top of one of Bath’s most picturesque streets leads a double life. By day, standard cafe fare (omelettes, sandwiches, salads, afternoon tea, etc) dominate a menu that keeps shoppers, tourists and young families happy . And then, beyond sunset, the whole affair undergoes a mini-makeover: out comes the white linen, candlelight and fresh flowers, and a rather odd combination of food begs for your attention: baby back ribs, Mexican fajitas and pizzas sit alongside authentic Middle Eastern treats such as kemroon m’shermal and kefta m’kaoura (you don’t really need to question which route The Pig recommends you take, do you?). It’s an eclectic experience to say the least, but Cafe du Globe definitely wins the award for one of Bath’s most unique eateries.
