black line Rajpoot
"Rich scarlet and gold décor give a 70s-era James Bond film vibe to proceedings."

Can’t find the Rajpoot? Just look for the doorman wearing full Raj regalia and follow his directions down, down and down again until you arrive in a subterranean labyrinth of activity. The snug bar area, private party rooms and a long, barrel-vaulted cave with plush upholstery, booths and an abundance of rich scarlet and gold décor give a 70s-era James Bond film vibe to proceedings. Meanwhile, menus embrace the entire Indian sub-continent without presenting us with anything too exotic; all in all, top-notch but soothingly familiar curry house faves, cooked and presented with flair in elegant surroundings.
