Dick Willows Farm and Cider Shop – with its quirky, downhome, welcoming vibe – represents a form of country life that’s at once contemporary and evocative of times gone by. Find everything from handmade chocolates, Essential toiletries and Ecover cleaning products to artisan breads, cheeses, charcuterie, jams, chutneys and a myriad of larder/supper party necessities, all merrily mingling with sacks of charcoal, birdseed and spuds, bundles of firewood and a range of bespoke and reclaimed furniture – in other words, treat yourself to plenty of time to browse these yer shelves. But for many, the alcoholic apple juice is where it’s at. Dick’s own Broadlands Cider Company range – made on the premises from apples grown in the adjacent orchard – sits alongside local varieties and more familiar offerings from Thatchers and Black Rat. Meanwhile, local ales (including a Bath Ales selection), Lyme Bay country wines and liqueurs and Glastonbury port wine all feature strongly in an array of merry making refreshments. Cheers!
