Following the resounding success of their cheese and wine tasting event last November, Gascoyne Place has teamed up with charismatic cheese maestro Todd Trethowan (of Trethowan’s Dairy Shop in Bristol) yet again. On Thursday 26 March at 7pm, £20pp gets you a selection of six of Todd’s fine cheeses accompanied by wine to match each flavour, all served up in GP’s elegant but inviting first floor dining rooms. But even if cheese ain’t your thing, surely wine is always a winner? Especially when it’s a bottle of GP’s exclusive Château de la Tuilerie house wine (red, white or rosé)… and especially when you can buy a bottle on any Tuesday in March for just £10. Yup, a tenner! Or 1,000p. Whichever way you look at it, it’s a bargain.
