Great Western’s WaysWednesday, May 5th, 2010
Glug yourself up and gain a fascinating insight into the processes that create Bath Ales’ award-winning beers (including Maris Otter, Gem, Barnstormer and Golden Hare) when the company’s co-founder Richard Dempster reveals all at Great Western Wine on Saturday 15 May (12noon-4pm). A week later (Saturday 22 May, 12noon-4pm) meet and greet the Guardian’s wine correspondent Malcolm Gluck when he’ll be reading from his new book ‘Château Lafite 1953 and Other Stories’ – a tome that promises to ‘lift the veil from the often corrupt and always mysterious wine world’. Admission to both events is free and tickets aren’t required, but the Pig recommends you arrive early to avoid disappointment.
