They’re calling it ‘An Outdoor Extravaganza that invokes the Spirit of Luther Vandross, Motown and Soul’ – but all The Pig can think about is the all-day barbecue. Whatever your perspective, it’s all happening at The Northey on Bank Holiday Monday 30 August, when £15 (under-14s free) gets you a complimentary glass of Pimm’s, access to ‘that’ barbecue and live music from legendary local soulsters (including John Paul Gard and Kevin Brown) from noon all the way through to midnight.
