The Bath-based Bertinet Kitchen – headed up by doughboy supremo Richard Bertinet himself – offers a range of courses for food lovers of all abilities, from demonstrations to hands-on, interactive classes. But those who’d rather just sit back and scoff without going to all the effort of actually learning how to make the crusty stuff themselves will be delighted to hear that the Bertinet Kitchen Bakery is this month making Richard’s signature sourdough available to restaurants, hotels and retail outlets in the area. Previously only available at The Bertinet Kitchen’s Saturday morning bakery, the bread is baked to Richard’s recipe in partnership with a dedicated team at Bristol based Avon Bakehouse.  The loaf will be available in three sizes (400g, 800g and 1.2kg) in the Bath and Bristol areas for daily delivery and, from December 1st, the large loaves will also be available for mail order delivery to individual customers via The Bertinet Kitchen website. Mm, tasty toasty for all!
