My name is… My name is…

There’s a lot of star-spangled activity going on at the gorgeous urban oasis that is the Bath Priory Hotel. Head chef Chris Horridge – the Michelin-starred ‘Great British Menu’ contender with a passion for molecular gastronomy – has packed up his gizmos, leaving the way clear for Michael Caines (MBE, no less!) to take over at the helm.   Michael has held two Michelin stars of his own at Gidleigh Park, the Bath Priory’s Devon-based sister hotel, since 1999. Prior to that, he was the first contemporary superchef to bring a taste of glamour to Bristolians when he flourished in his leading role at the city’s Marriott Hotel. And from February, Bath piglets can enjoy a taste of Caines on their own doorstep. With his innovative and uniquely appealing style, Michael’s penchant for injecting passion into modern European cuisine is renowned throughout the UK. The Pig welcomes this big cuddly bear with a dazzling smile and a truly inspirational biography with open arms.
