Make the Bear your summertime lair on Thursday 29 July, when the hosts behind Bear Flat’s lovely, lively watering hole will be teaming up with experts from Majestic Wine to offer a 4-course taster menu with specially selected tipples to match (£40pp; early booking recommended). Meanwhile, if you’ve got a glut you’d like to see the back of (or if you fancy picking up some bargain berries), July’s Bear Trade Veg Swaps are scheduled in for Saturday 17 July and Saturday 31 July, while plans for an 80s-themed Disco Night have been pencilled in for August (date to be confirmed; watch this space)
