Hearty congratulations to gourmet veggie/vegan haven demuths for bagging the prestigious ‘Best Vegan Catering of the Year Award’ from the Vegan Society: a lively organisation that works tirelessly to encourage (and show appreciation of) the individuals making veganism an easier and more convenient lifestyle choice for all. The Pig firmly believes that demuths is a truly worthy winner of such acknowledgment; if you’d like to join the celebrations, head along to demuths any weekday lunchtime and enjoy two courses for just £10.50. Alternatively, opt for an early evening supper: two courses for £14.50 between 5.30-6.30pm Sun-Thur.
While we’re hangin’ out in demuths’ lush pastures, we’d like to take this opportunity to welcome the restaurant’s new head chef Richard Buckley to the fold. The Pig’s heard that what Richard can do with butternut squash, wilted cavelo nero and thyme pesto has to be tasted to be believed; expect an updated review showcasing Richard’s talents any day now.
