Slip into the leiderhosen and prepare to festessen on a selection of traditional German Sausages (served with sauerkraut, of course) washed down with pitchers of continental brews from the beer tent without the hassle of booking a flight to Munich: it’s all happening at the Bath Racecourse annual Oktoberfest on Sunday 10 October. But is this a beerfest with a twist? You bet! The first horse race starts at 2.25pm, with the final one of the day crossing the finishing line some three hours later. But the Germanic frolics continue in the beer tent all the way through to 5:30pm – prost indeed!
