black line Triple Chocolate Brownies
A sensual, indulgent treat

Preheat the oven to 170c/325f/gas mark 3. Line a baking tray with lightly buttered greaseproof paper or foil. Put the plain chocolate and butter in a large bowl and melt together slowly over a pan of simmering water. Take the melted chocolate off the heat and stir in the sugar, then add the flour and baking powder. Lightly beat the eggs with the vanilla essence before folding into the sugar, flour and chocolate. Pour the mixture into the baking tin and bake for 20-25 minutes until the top looks firmish. Cool in the tin for at least 10 minutes before cutting.
